It’s simple. After finding the prefect video book design, have us preload your video by including an online link to your video in the “Preload my video” section. If your video(s) are not online, use our upload form after placing an order to add videos from your computer or phone. We’ll have your videos preloaded before your order ships.
The Motion Books will be delivered to you ready to play creating a seamless viewing experience.
Follow these simply steps:
1. Connect your video book to any computer with the provided USB cable (included).
2. A new “MOTIONBOOKS” drive should appear on your computer. Double click to open the device.
3. Copy your video(s) onto the device, just like how you would do it with any other USB drive. You can easily drag and drop new video files onto the drive or delete old video files off of it.
4. Safely eject and disconnect the USB cable. You’re ready to relive the big moments on The Motion Books.

Sound upload doesn’t work without reformatting
UPDATED: I discovered that if you go to the Motion Books website, you can upload your video and they will optimize it and email it back to you. After doing that, the video and sound uploaded just fine. After uploading a second video, the orientation was sideways, so I had to re-upload it to the Motion Books site several different times to figure out how to re-orient the video. It was a lot of trial and error but ultimately I did get it to work. Now that it’s all done, I’m happy I bought it.PREVIOUS: I LOVE the idea of this! I’ve ordered two of them and now am returning the second one for the same reason. I uploaded the video of my daughter’s wedding and the sound stutters. The video is beautiful and I’m really disappointed because I was hoping maybe the first device was a dud and the second try would work. But alas, the same issue. The file plays perfectly on my computer, so I don’t believe it’s a source file issue. I even had the video editor size down the file size in case that was an issue, but it did not solve the problem. I’m wondering if I order from the MotionBooks site directly and they upload the video for me if maybe they’ll be able to get it to work, but doing it myself with the devices from Amazon has been an unfortunate failure, even though I followed the directions and the device seems to work.

I love the concept of this product, but unfortunately, the quality is quite bad.Rather than watching a video, it feels like you’re watching a fast sequence of photos.The playback is extremely choppy, and it jars the eyes to watch.I would strongly recommend transporting your video onto a USB for like $10 and then just watching it on a laptop or TV, the quality will be at least 400% better.

I bought one of these for my BFF after her wedding and she liked it, so I got one for my husband for Christmas. The quality is great and I love that it comes preloaded.
What I didn’t expect is how special this would be for our son. He is 15 months old and he wants to watch this video (in its 6 minute entirety 🫠) over and over every day. Which is funny because he does not care about normal TV. But he loves seeing us, his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and friends he recognizes. It melts my heart to watch him smile and be enraptured by our special day.

I love the fact you were able to turn my wedding video into a physical album to display and for everyone who visits to enjoy! Everything about this is fabulous and would highly recommend.
